The height parameter in ocean texture set to vector mode is ignored if corona decals are added to this object.

Hi, can you explain what exactly you are doing and why? How exactly are you using the Phoenix Ocean texture with Corona Decals?

Hi, I'm doing ocean surface obviously ;)

Corona physical material + phoenixfd ocean texture for displacement and decal to add boat wake.

Everything works fine except the "height" parameter in the ocean texture if set to vector mode. It works fine if the decal is removed or if vector mode is disabled.

Kinda late to the party, but...

It seems that the only way to get similar results to V-Ray in Corona is plugging the Phoenix FD Ocean map into a 3ds Max Vector Displacement map, and then passing it into displacement.
Then you can control the wave height (otherwise it is not doing anything - regardless if you have Corona Decals in your scene or not).
Then it works fine with Corona Decals.
