I know this is getting nit-picky, but one thing I like about the corona Devs is the attention to detail and layout of the UI of the past. As features are getting added
I realize things get more cumbersome, but this hurts my designer brain lookign at this. Great release over all, but for me the details matter.
Again, nit-picky I know.... :)
Also it would be nice if the new tonemapping UI did not reset its position and size everytime you close and open it.

And the small dropdown menu of the LUT selection is not great.

Thanks, can you tell us which version of 3ds Max and Windows this is, what is your screen resolution and DPI scaling % in Windows?
This looks like a candidate for V9 fixes. ;)
-
It looks exactly like this here as well. Go to Rendersetup -> Camera -> "Edit Tone Mapping..." and just resize the window a bit. These are just badly aligned UI elements.
Good Luck

- Windows Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043
- 3ds Max 2022.3
- Corona Version 8
- DPI scale is 100%
It would be great if the tone mapping pop up would remember size and position also. But over all Corona 8 has introduced a lot of bad alignments in UI.
-
Also remember Corona foundation of speed and simplicity. The UI is looking a bit ungly and getting cluttered.
I realaize that as you add features things need changing, but you should be holding that goal up to a better microscope.
You may as well add GPU rendering next lol.

I remember telling the devs the same in another post: small details are really import. This is what makes great design.
Unfortunately, I feel they are not so receptive now as they used to be.
-
Thanks for the feedback. Believe me, we did catch many UI issues during the daily/rc phase and fixed them. :)
We missed these ones. This will be logged and fixed asap.

Could you add this one as well please? Camera names are unnecessarily clipped. Left: this is what you get when you press "Edit..." in tone mapping override of a camera. Then, if you resize the window, I'd expect to be able to read the camera name.
Good Luck

... and that one. Otherwise the indentation looks rather like an accident.

Noted, thanks for the feedback everyone.
