hi there.

is there any straight forwarded steps, how to render alpha, zpdeth, reflection, object buffers or material ids?
in vray, you had to add post effects and add elements through vraymultipassmanager.
its a bit confusing for corona, as i need to render a huge exterior scene.

can anybody write down the steps?

so much thanks for this amazing render engine, mates

I'm not C4D expert but I think you are looking for:
render settings > Effect...  > Corona multi-pass, then you can add Corona passes.

the multipass components with their channels (diffuse, reflect, refract ...) does not work. I forget something?

The multipass work well but you need to save your scene, close c4d and restart the app for changes to take effect.

that's strange... here it doesn't work and is also mentioned as undone (latest beta6_daily)
can you please show ID pass at least as here every triangle gets own color

corona multi pass -> mask -> id primivite.

Don't hit render, save your scene. Close c4d. Re-open your scene and render. Work !

Yup, same as here... this means it is NOT WORKING!
Correct ID would be for every object different solid (w/o triangulation)
e.g

How could i have missed that dropdown menu?
Haven't had much time lately to test, also why i missed that menu and lost interest for a while...
Are other passes working ok for you (zdepth, alpha, normals...)? Is anything specific to be noted of (except that for every change file needs to be re-opened)?

For those who had problems with passes, there was a bug that might cause settings of some passes not to update when you changed the settings (if that happened to you, you needed to restart C4D). This should be fixed in the latest build (released today) together with a lot of other Multipass-related stuff.

hi, just ran a test... and now all passes have first pixel column corrupted, used to be the case only with the Mask pass.
