Hello there,

I am currently trying to install Corona for Blender 2.76. I've downloaded latest versions for Blender:

Standalone (2015-04-12): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kgzu0cqy903ygmb/AADkxxFBu1eemh8Hkioh2bP1a/!Standalone?dl=0

Exporter (render_corona_1.9.2_win64.zip): https://bitbucket.org/ohsnapitsjoel/render_corona/downloads

but after setting everything up, I am getting this error:

I've added a path to the standalone folder (where .exe is), added "render_corona" to Blender addons folder and installed exporter through user preferences.

How I can fix that?

Have you also saved your file and set output path before rendering? Can you share your scene or test the attached scene.

I have downloaded Blender 2.76b and used test scene of yours, exactly the same error appears.

Are you an owner of the system? Do you have full administrative rights set to read&write on locations where files reside?
Can you disable User Account Control and try again.

Second... are files to specified paths for Corona to use them?
You could then check if rendering works from command line.

Yes, I am the owner and have all administrative rights. I use Windows 7 64 bit. Looking at command line, it seems like it can't find specified file, but I don't know what file.

EDIT: Maybe this has something to do with creator owner permissions? I can't change it's permissions.

In error report you got stuff in your Downloads folder.
Here you are showing Program files folder.
Although yes, you don't have rights to control those files (ownership) - blocks in Allow column should be checked/ticked.
(or move working/project files to a folder where you are Allowed with Full control)

Read this article and use script attached at the bottom, it should solve the problem.
Add "Take Ownership" to Explorer Right-Click Menu in Windows

I've got Downloads folder in the command window, because I have downloaded 2.72 version to check, if it will work, but normally my 2.76b version was inside Program Files.

Now I have unistalled Blender from Program Files and installed it inside my personal folder "Tomasz", where I'm 100% sure that I have full control, but still the same error appears. After using "Take Ownership" script, nothing changed, still the same error. Every path is correctly assigned and everything is in it's place (standalone, render_corona in addons folder). So strange...

EDIT: Also, is Corona Renderer supposed to work by opening "Corona_Release.exe" in standalone folder? Because when I run it, it stops working and gives me this error:

I am writing about that .exe file:

EDIT2: When I run "!run sample" batch file from standalone folder, it gives me this (it appears for a second and dissapears):

EDIT3: I am pretty sure I have found the reason why it is not working. I have read that Corona Renderer will not work with CPUs not supporting SSE 4.1 and my AMD Phenom II X4 955 does not support it. So I guess I have to wait for developers to make Corona Renderer compatible with my CPU or buy new one, which supports SSE 4.1.

Oh... sorry to hear that. Yup, you need at least Bulldozer or newer (http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-AMD-Phenom-II-X4-965-Supports-SSE3-or-SSE4).
Otherwise you can see if your CPU supports the SSE 4.x instructions with "cpu-z" tool: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
e.g.

PS
Hehe, on the bright side, at least previous problem was solved :D

I will check cpu-z tool as well.

You are very kind person burnin, thank you for your help. :) I was hoping to use Corona, but Cycles is also an option for professional renderings for now, thanks to the author of that tutorial:

Thanks again and take care!
