I've been experiencing Max freezing a lot with the latest Corona version. Didn't pay attention at first but now I can see something is going on.

haven't been able to find a pattern in order to reproduce the problem, but I think it has happened when using IR on full screen. Last time it happened I checked the task manager and noted that CPU was at 3% and not at 100%. RAM was at 26% aprox.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Can you please clarify, the entire VFB window is freezing or IR gets into a locked/freezed state and won't refresh at all?

The whole Max is freezing and becoming unresponsive so only option is to kill the process using task manager.

You can force a minidump in such scenarios, that lets us have a peek at what was going on - see https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4649117083409-How-to-report-issues-3ds-Max- "2. Crashes, Errors, Freezes - Collecting the Minidump File if Autodesk Error Report Window is not Available" section. If you could do that and upload it, it could be helpful.

Also, any third party apps being used? Which version of Corona (what you think is "latest version" may not be, so always good to specify exactly), what version of Max?

This Corona 9 (DailyBuild June 9, 2022). I'm on Max 2022.1 update.

Regarding the minidump, this sounds like a good option. I'll try to create it and send it next time. Just one question: Can I generate the minidump without installing the app suggested in the Corona article? Last time that the freezing happened, I remember a minidup option available on the native task manager , next to the Max process. Would that mini dump work too?

Hello, may I please know - do you still facing this issue? Any updates, please?

if the Autodesk Error Report Window is unavailable you would need to install Process Explorer.
