Hi i have a question about consider to go for an animation need to decide CPU or GPU, i know they are different methods to resolve an image, so in terms what would you decide CPU or GPU?, i am Fstorm user i have render an image HD 1920x1080 interior in 5 min with 2 GTX1080, now it seems to have a little bit of noise so with corona have denoiser with bump implemetation how many CPU cores do ineed to render an image interior prefer HD in less than 5 min, i have seen bench mark but i can only afford AMD THREAD RIPPER 1950x twice talking about to consider buying two of them.

So in conclusion 32 cores 64 threaded would be fine to render any interior scene in less than 5 min?

Hi i see some changes about this build that is not on dropbox this is the date when i download this build 2015-08-28 but cant find it on drop box because its old.

i tried displacement in the new 1.3 release version and i apply displacement on one face seems to be that one face its displaced, but the other faces doesnt have continuity and when i use this date build i do the same and faces that doesnt have displacement on the same object they include continuty and doesnt have edges pop out.

 thanks if you read this ondra can you help me, if we can have it back this feature?.

Hi i want to share some experiments with velvet material hope you like it (you can play with the colors or replacement with a texture).

Hi everybody im having some problems with displacement i left the displacement option 2.0 pix size in performance tab, but when i render my displacement gets awful.

--Then i subdivide my mesh with this options turbosmooth, tessellate,meshsmooth, then i render again and nothing happens.

--So i have to get displacement option to 0.7 pix size and the displacement gets very sharp and very well, but i only have 16gb ram and my computer gets freeze.

Is there a solution to this for the moment? why when i subdivide my mesh dosent affect the tesselation option an gets like if my mesh wasnt subdivided?

Hi, im really new about this render engine, in my opinion for an alpha version its an  amazing engine, here´s a simple room scene i made, waiting for new versions to come will be marvelous if they integrate bloom effects and lens effects, and the new implementation of displacements, cause i cant use displacement maps like bricks on a box, when i aply it, faces come out of the geometry if i have high values and if i lower values looks like if i aply it a bump map not a displacement maps, thanks for the hardwork to implement new realeses with new options. i vote for ies lights in the forum will be great in the next release.
