Great to see that! Can't wait for the scene converter to be up and running!

If one converts the materials in a scene from Cinema 4D materials into Corona Materials is there a difference in the time something takes to render or the time it takes for the parsing to be finished?

Many thanks Burnin for your advice on using the parallel projection. I was actually trying with the other special projections and wasn't getting anything...

So I've been playing around with the parallel view but I have encountered one problem.

When I render, I get the lower part of my render cut off. I have my camera set to parallel and don't have enabled neither near or far clipping. I have also set my view clipping setting in the project settings to huge. I don't know what else I might be doing wrong that the render comes out with its lower part cut off. I've pixelated the render due to confidentiality issues. But it gives an idea of the viewport image on the left and the rendered image on the right... The lower half is missing in the rendered image...

A hand would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Does Corona for C4D support axonometric views?

If you mean the Background object, then not yet. Although we're planning to support it later on

great to hear that!

I've been playing around with the environment settings and till now I just get quite pixelated backgrounds. Will keep on playing around.

Here I found some more info on the subject: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=17125.msg107220#msg107220

Is the C4D's Background Image Plate supported in Corona?

I checked and there's nothing that overrides the sun...

25
I noticed with the renders I did using the vfb that the sun made an appearance. Perhaps something is overriding the sun in the takes?

I will check once again when I’m back in the office. But I think that theres nothing overriding the sun in the takes, as of to make it invisible. The only thing that’s overrided is the direction of the sun. I do this to control the way the shadows appear in each take.

26
So these renders are via the takes system? If so, Do you get the same result without using it?

Yes, i get the same result when I use the vfb.

27
Oh yes! the sun is taking a vacation which is becoming too long!

Here another screenshot of take 18 with the artifacts and warning: https://ibb.co/eE2DU7

28
Glad you'r keen to see the artifacts! jajaja Sorry! Was busy for a moment... Here you can see the artifacts: https://ibb.co/fyyuWc

I will upload more screenshots in a couple of hours... I'm in a meeting now.

29
The renderer doesn’t crash. It simply gives the warning and keeps rendering. The problem is that it’s not some artifacts that appear, most of the rendered image appears black. They are huge artifacts... I mean not able to be photoshopped away... Large parts of the image are missing. Will upload an image in a couple of minutes so you see what I mean.

Great to hear that Cestmir! I hope you get the same error! hahaha I'm really desperate and don't know how to fix the problem.
