We are proud to present our Rim House from RM Arquitectura made for the 4pixos online course
We put heart and soul to make this and enjoyed every step of the way :)
Everything except the sky is 3d, using sketchup-3dsmax-corona-ps

What a great Mediterranean light. :)

My humble proposals:

The tiles in the kitchen look too aggressive.

Less sharper edges on the house... Corona has such a great rounded edges-tool. Use it!
And some variation on the speculars & bump of the walls. Would look way more natural.

The vegetation & surrounding are simply great. Congrats!

BTW...
I never understood why architects & 3D-artists use Sketchup. In my oppinion (and that of most of my industrial designer-colleagues) it is literally a toy... not a pro 3D program.
The worst 3D-soft I ever had to use (thanks God only for some months). Try to do anything curved with it or to work with complex splines... Will cost you your last nerve. Literally impossible. Good for creating simple box-shapes, that´s it.
All the time you need to group surfaces because it does not know volumes. Everything that intersects, automatically cuts eachother. And for almost any more advanced function it needs endless plugins... etc. etc...

SKP... a total disaster.

Hi Designerman77, thx for the input, i did use round edges, i need to chamfer those..
About sk, i been using it for almost 13 years or so, i can make anything SUPER fast with it, and all the complicated geo is just made on 3dsmax, we use each software for what its good for, it has worked for us :)
