What exactly is Corona Scatter?

I've seen tutorials on how to work with Corona Scatter.     Is that only a 3DS thing... because in C4D you would use Hair or MoGraph?

Correct, at the moment Corona Scatter is only a Max thing, as C4D has more powerful manipulation tools natively than Max ever did :)

I suppose the AD dev team heard these requests... Env. tools seem to be on the near future roadmap. :)
