For what it's worth, I did a little research on that network issue, and it led me here:

The thing is that I don't have any of those entries in my registry to modify. I wonder if there is anything I can do about this, or do I just have to live without network watching by CoronaBitmap.

Is the freeze for several minutes after stopping IR render a thing still or again?  anyone having this happen?

Hi,

I have not experianced this behaviour. Was this issue reported to us previously?

If not; can you provide me with the version of Max you are using, if you are using any 3rd party plugins and if possible a scene where this is happening?

Corona latest build freeze/crash/burn with tyFlow beta on Max 2020. Works ok a little better with edit mesh/poly modifier on top. Further investigation reveals tyFlow will render ok with DOF but turning on motion blur (with edit poly/mesh modifier) makes Corona throw up it's arms in despair. And it freezes with interactive render no matter what I try.

Just a heads-up. :)

Could you please compile build for 2021 and post it on beta.adsk please
joking aside it will be harder to make 2021 because AUtodesk change codes every 2 years, so 2019 and 2020 are very similar just like 2016 and 2018. 2021 I think is a different code so don't expect it very early next year.

Hi, BTW how do you like the reworked scale map system in Corona Scatter in the latest daily?

(From the changelog: Switched scale maps in Corona Scatter to just one map but interpreted in RGB. Its red component affects scale for X axis, green component for Y axis, and blue component for Z axis. Introduced 2 new modes how the map can be interpreted. Do you find it clear and well usable?

I had no chance to test scatter improvements yet, but i did read the article and i liked very much what i saw there. Single RGB map probably won't be as convenient to use as separate greyscale maps, but new scaling capabilities outweights this by far. Now if we could expect similar thing to happen to other transformation channels, that would be dream come true!

Yes, that is one of motivations behind the change. Translation and rotation maps would explode in the UI into 6 more map slots otherwise ...

Hi, there is an unwanted behaviour with CoronaColorCorrect inthe last daily.
I've a brown stone, color corrected with -0.9 saturation, so it's basically gray, but appears blue 'cause the Temperature value (6.500 K by default) affect the resulting image.
I can't turn the image to the desired gray and, most of all, all legacy scene will be affected. Could you disable Temeperature by default?
