Hey guys!

My last work, playing around with Phoenix to make a natural smoke. Still a long way to go (simulation times are high) but will keep testing.

I'm a huge fan of the vibes here. You nailed it with the grading! The smoke, looking cool and sharp but it just seems a little bit fake still -at least to me.

The Steak is dead, long live the Steak!

The smoke, looking cool and sharp but it just seems a little bit fake still -at least to me.

Maybe bit too solid at the top, but still pretty convincing.

I think the smoke looks "fake" because it is just cut off at one point. The only reason this could happen in real life would be that the fire was started just a few seconds ago, and the smoke just reached the chimney and just started flowing out. Obviously this could be intended. If not, then the smoke should reach higher and/or be more transparent/scattered farther away.

Anyway, just random nitpicks. ;)

Thanks everyone! I will make some ajustments to the smoke and update the topic.

I really just let simulate the very beggining, i will put more dissipation to it and let simulate a little longer to create a more realistic effect.
