Hey guys,

I need to render an animation and I have to separate the bloom and glare pass from the beauty pass, to manage intensity in post production.
The b & g pass is rendered properly but the beauty pass still has bloom and glare in it. How could I keep the beauty pass without bloom and glare? Do I have to mix mutliple passes?

The main beauty pass always has everything - you have to add a VirtualBeauty pass, and that multipass element has checkboxes on whether to include bloom and glare in it or not.

I tried already with the VirtualBeauty but it's missing the tone mapping tweaks :(

Hi! Not sure what you mean, can you provide more info? For me, any tone mapping applied in the Post tab of the VFB apply to the Beauty and Virtual Beauty identically.

I understood the problem!
The VirtualBeauty pass has linear color profile and importing into After Effects causes the image to become very dark.
I just have to import the right profile into AE, or convert it to srgb.

Right, if working with render passes, it's linear 32 bit is the way to go, so you can re-combine them and work with them in post as intended :) Glad you got it working!
