Title: Washed Out Renders
Post by: mrsacan on 2022-06-10, 20:39:05
Hello,

I'm still using Corona 7 (because of Windows 7)

I have a problem, I really can't think of a reason why it's happening, renders are start gray and in the end washed out :

What are your gamma settings in Max?

2,2

I merged into new file (it's just a terrain object and camera), it's correct in new file.
Same settings. Weird.

I assume this is more like 3ds max issue rather than corona.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any Corona setting that would do that :) Maybe someone else can think of something though. For me, it was most likely Max - depending where the scene came from (if it was from an older version of Max), Max used to have separate Input and Output Gammas, but new versions do not give you access to each one independently any more so any set incorrectly can remain "locked and unchangeable" in its incorrect form (you can see the values, but they are greyed out and can't be changed) and I wonder if that is what happened here. Glad you got it resolved whatever the cause!

Atmospherics on 3dsmax Common settings may be the culprit, try to disable it and see whether things change. :)
