Forgive my ignorance. I'm thinking of building my first PC around a 7950X. But on my local shop's part picker - it keeps limiting me to 64GB of DDR5 RAM on the motherboard.
Is there something about DDR5 RAM that is limiting it to 2 slots? Is 64GB remotely enough these days?
I always thought that Corona was somewhat RAM hungry so my old 2950X pc had 128GB of DDR4...

Nothing would limit it. Call your local shop, maybe their picker has an artificial limit because they can't conceive of anyone needing more (other than 3D and video editing types, no-one needs more ;) ). Or maybe they have a shortage available in the store and limit it for each purchase. Who can say?
