Hi everyone,

I am running Corona Version: A6.3  (core 1.5 ), on CinemaR18.
On all the renders I have been doing, I always experience some really significant increase on render time per pass after Pass 6. I wonder if anyone has experienced it also, or if it is normal and I just don't know it.
Has a means of example, tonight I rendered one image, not a very heavy scene, in 4500px and from Pass 1 till Pass 6 it took +/- 182 seconds per pass, after pass 6 the time went up to +/- 1122 seconds per pass. And this seems to be symptomatic in all of the renders I have done, so I assume it's not scene or project related.

Maybe somebody could shed some light on this for me :)

Thanks in advance!

This is the result of adaptivity kicking it. It is expected, and it actually makes the rendering faster (higher quality per pass).
For general information about adaptivity, see: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000004975-what-is-adaptivity-
