[C4D] Daily Builds / Re: Why Is the New PBR Better?
« on: 2021-01-07, 09:36:50 »
I cannot find help files on this material, is there any that I am missing?
I am used to adding a reflection color or material, is this now completely removed?
Is the only way to adjust the reflection the IOR?

Hi, sorry, I was in a hurry so just hoped it will show the problem without the maps.
I will send the maps now.

I will upload the scene now.
I do not think it is UV related TBH...but now sure what.

Hi, in the latest daily I get random items not rendering in IR

First Item I noticed had 2x uv Tags so I deleted the one and it worked...but taking the same item to a new scene with both uv tags it will render.
So I dont think it is the uv tag..... but I have no idea what could have caused it.

Now I realize other items in my scene dont render in IR but it is in final renders

Beanzvision, please help me :)
I recently upgraded my pc from an old intel cpu to a new AMD 16 core machine.
Since the upgrade I get these weird render blocks, but super random. I even get it now on old scenes that had no problems, that rendered perfect on my old pc.

I never thought there can be a render difference between AMD and intel but is it maybe possible?
I am sure I had the same corona version on both pc's... not sure anymore but this is on the latest beta.

Where was it uploaded and what is the file called? Thanks

I used your private uploader in your signature. Think it was called "Hilton_002.c4d"

yeah, this is odd... my render was all white when I got the error, so I didn't see any Nan's. in fact, the whole render view looked washed out.
This morning when I opened the same scene it renders perfect...no messages or errors. It is so inconsistent.

So on another scene when I try to render I get the error:

An internal error has occurred causing your image to contain NaN (Not a Number) value.
Please report the bug with the scene attached. We can fix these problems promptly if we have the scene where it happens.

I am uploading the file now. PLEASE KEET IT CONFIDENTIAL!

I got this yesterday on full render, not with IR.
Multiple times.

Today, it is all gone :)
No idea what caused it but it is gone, thanks anyway.

What can this be, is it a form of NAN?

[C4D] Bug Reporting / Re: V5 Render regions
« on: 2020-02-11, 15:06:11 »
Using Team Render to render regions works, but when camera offset is used it seems to ignore the offset and render in a different position than marked in VFB.
The image still render right, but it renders a different mask (See screengrab)
