It's not reproducible, so no bug report in the other section - but I happened to have some crashes with the IPR lately, also with the latest Beta (RC1).
It usually happens when I switch objects visible/invisible, when I add/remove objects or move texture tags from one object to another.
Anybody here with the same problems?

Win 10, R19, Daily Beta from Dec 21.
Load and run the scene (start IPR).
Select "Cube 1" and cycle through the projections (Texture tab, try UV, Spherical, Cubic ...), nothing changes.
Select "Cube 2" and cyvle through the projections, too. Works as expected.
Cube 1 is textured with a Noise in UV(2D) mode.
Cube 2 is textured with a Noise in Texture mode.

If you copy a textured object while the IR is running, you need to restart the IR to see it textured (until then, the default material is used for it).
Is this by design?

Strange, everything works fine & lively here (w7, r18.0.41).

I checked it here, R18 (and still Win10), it only works after restarting the IR after a change.

If you start the IPR and either rotate the sky or change the U/V offsets in the material tag, you have to restart the IPR to get an updated rendering.

Daily Beta from Dec, 21 plus R19 on Win 10.

What sounds like a romantic movie title is actually something strange:
Create a Corona Sky from the Corona menu.
Undo it.
You can't.

Corona Daily from Dec. 14, C4D R19.

If you use a C4D noise in the Opacity Slot of a material used for stacking, it will only work if the noise is in UV(2D)-mode.

Happens to me with old scenes only. New ones work.

With the native C4D renderer(s) it is possible to do the following:
Add a base texture to a model with, say, Color (the C4D way to say: It's a diffuse texture!) and Bump active.
Add another texture tag with just Bump active and activate "Mix Texture".
This way you get another layer of, for example, scratches mixed with the base texture.

Would this be possible with Corona, too?

When does a node based system come in?

The road map says with Beta 2 (https://trello.com/b/dgI8vjDb/corona-road-map-cinema-4d) and after the rapid progress the team was making recently, I guess the early new year might show us first impressions of it.

It is stable until you get problems.
