faking sss skin.., any advice?

So SSS Skin will be implemented later in the future, but in the meantime i will like to know if there is a way to fake sss skin with translucense with good looking results. Anyone have try it?..

Yes! I have tried.. the result is not quite bad.. I will upload in the future my experiments ;)

rawalanche did a series of fake SSS materials in the past, but skin shader is probably completely different level...

I'd really like to see some fake sss skin too, any info on those rawalanche shader will be very welcome, as well as any other examples.

I'm quite clueless about how to fake it myself. Thanks!
