Hi,
Check out this image in the attachment. Could you add Corona Render Menu?
It could be optionally as selection during install.

I got problems with floating icons of Corona Render - they dont stick, and float every time I run 3ds max.
Did you solve that issue?

Maybe as additionally option - all the corona functions could be in Menu bar?
I cant do it manually because I can't find Corona functions in Customize UI

Some previous releases also stopped working correctly, no sure when - mayby between 6 and 7.

The Bake To Texture not working corectly - the projection is warped and distorted - I am sensind 3 images from Scanline, Arnold and Corona
and 3ds max 2022 file..

Hi,
Could you please add additional tilling-mode in Corona Texture?
I mean CLAMP mode that repeat the last pixel.

The Convert to Max geometry button extracts all scatter elements to single elements.
It would be great if we have an option (checkbox or button) to convert it direcly to single obejct.
Of course I am using now Attach to get all obejcts into one, but max Attach is very slow so it takes time..

Hi,
I think using corona shortcuts from menu bar is more readable than toolbar.
On new 3ds max installation I always turn off corona toolbar and add new menu bar, unfortunately
I can't add all functions from toolbar just the Corona Mat Lib, maybe you could add all that actions
that are in the toolbar.. in Menu all items are descibed so you don't need to guess the icon meaning
and the UI is cleaner and have more room..

Hi,
I was thinking about this technique that could speed up things a bit.

1. empty area reducing
So, if I have an object that is small and occupies only a small portion of the whole image the renderes also focuses on the empy/black/enviroment area where there is nothing, and the rendering time is longer. If I adject the rendering region the rendering time recudes a lot over a half time. The problem is when the object is moving not static. So maybe its possible to avoid computing the empty areas, or do somekind of auto adjustment region?

2. less noise less computing
The second idea is to leave areas with less noise and redirect computing power to much noiser areas.

Hi,
So the Nitrous viewport is better and better when we are using Physical Material, we can get very nice PBR results, rendering in Arnold give almost the same result as in the viewport..
So I was wondering is it possible to support and OPTIMIZE (or to convert in runtime) the physical material so we can use it in the viewport and have similar render on Corona without changing the matrial to CoronaMtl,

Hi,
Did somebody use 3ds max 2018 and Corona 5 on Rebus Farm? I got an error that files coronamaxutils2018 and coronamax are not supported, its weird because they said that REBUS supports all that software..

any ideas? I already wrote to the rebus support but no reply so far..

[Max] I need help! / FOG problem..

Hi,
Is something wrong with the volume material?
- If I put volume material into global volume slot and try different distance values I only get my scene brighter or darker, I mean the whole image - I don't  have the fog effect that grades visibility..
- So I put the volume material into box object, I it worked OK but, the camera can't be inside..

Is it a bug?

Hi,
I am developing my plugin for 3ds max and I did this List Control dialog (picture attached)
for something similar like frequency in Corona Scatter.
I think this would be much more usable solution: the frequency value next to node name.
By now to see what frequency is assign to node we must click every node.

ps.
I can send you part of my code :)

Hi,
I often use Render Elements like Components and Bloom&Glare.
When I use denoise, the denoising is taking place two times - first on the final render and second on the componenet element..
so let say if denoise takes 20 sec. I have to wait 40 seconds - most hurts on animations of course..

[Scatter] 3ds Max - Bug Reporting / CScatter lags

Hi,
I was working on this huge project, and use a lots of CScatters.

To have different plants with different distribution parameteres I used from 3 to 5 or 8 CScatters for single Distribution object.
If CScatters were not hided and I selected the distribution object or move to next frame I had to wait like 30s to 1 minute.

Gallery / Pińczów Castle Reconstruction...

Hi all!
This is my long-term project that I had been working on for 2,5 year.
I wanted to reconstruct and visualize the Pińczów Castle that was dismantled at the end of 18th century.
The whole project includes 21 shots rendered in Corona at 9450x5670, beczause I wanted to print it later as Fine Art
and give to the Museum.

This project was my own idea and I took all the costs. I was working on my spare time.
I also made the website: www.zamekpinczow.pl (polish only)

I also made an applicaiton to convert LIDAR terrain map to 3d object.
