Just testing my TR setup before I start a big job that will need it...

I've just sent a job to my Threadripper 32 core from the Host M1 Max MacBook - everything on R25 and Daily build corona-8-c4d-daily-2022-02-02 - I'm only getting about the bottom third of the final image - no errors - rest is black... TR Client seems to think its finished ok.

Am I being stupid?

Cheers

Do you have Render Regions enabled?

Nope… not as far as I can tell… but it is an old file I was testing… I’ll take another look in the morning with fresh eyes… thanks!

HA! Yes - I had inherited the file and the previous person has enabled the render region in the Render settings - not something I've ever used so my eyes kept missing the tick :-) Thank you

Just to add to this. I've found if you open an old scene, not sure how old, but it will give you problems. Maybe it's been sorted out with v8 who knows. In either case, as a fairly simple test when a scene act oddly is to select EVERYTHING in your scene, create a fresh project and paste everything. You'll be surprised how much a fresh scene can help.

Glad it got resolved! Ha, indeed, I should have asked "Does your scene have Render Regions enabled?" rather than "Do you have Render Regions enabled?" since you did not (but the previous owner did lol)
