Hi,

If I'm rendering an animation and make changes in the VFB tools section. e.g changes to the exposure.

Does this change save to all frames in the animation, what about the ones that have already completed rendering?
How does this work and how to affect all frames with these changes for animation?

thanks

If the VFB has the "final say" on things like Exposure (so, exposure isn't overridden to be controlled from a CoronaCamera for instance) then it will affect all frames that are rendered after the change. Things that are already rendered are already rendered, so have whatever exposure etc. was used when they were rendered :)

(If you really wanted to tweak exposure after rendering, you can render to CXR, and use the Corona Image Editor to adjust any VFB settings afterward - but you'll need to use it in batch editing mode through a script to apply the same effects to all frames)

Thanks for reply, Tom.

Yes will look into the script for batch editing CXR via CIE

That's an odd feature for the final renders from VFB, is that due to Corona mainly being for stills over animation?

Not sure what you mean about it being odd - there's no way a change to the VFB settings could affect already rendered images (previous frames), any more than changing the color of a sofa from red to blue would affect previously rendered frames. So, nothing there is "stills specific" in any way :)
