When adding a preset tonemap to the stack - path to LUT is hardcoded with a windows C: path - so errors on MacOS.

I think we had this previously at some point?

MacOS 12.6, S26, Corona 9 RC1 - all single Cosmos assets import fine - but none of the preset scenes (grass, hedges etc) appear in the scene (they do download though).

Just having a spin in Corona 9 RC1 - on MacOS 12.6. and C4D S26.017 - if i make a cene with a Corona Sky - then add a camera and alter the exposure in the tonemapping - then maybe change the value again - e.g -2 then to -3 - if I move the camera the exposure flips back to previous value.

I think its only viewport IPR - I can't seem to make it do it in the proper Interactive Render window.

Is there any chance that licensing might at some point be able to be pointed to the Chaos website server? (rather than have to run a local instance). Just thinking out loud!

Guessing that would be considered a regression though :-)

[C4D] I need help! / Jagged reflections with C4D Displacer

Anyone got any magic to deal with this without subdividing any more? The indentation is a C4D Displacer object with a spline mask as a field - works ok apart from the distortion in the reflections - and unfortunately I need to be relatively close for a shot. I've fiddled with phong angles and all that jazz. Displacer has a smoothing modifier on it too. Thanks!

Hi - struggling a bit myself - but is it possible to just use the decal as a displacement stamp only? i.e. no diffuse or any other component just the displacement map loaded in?

As above - previously working vrlclient.xml pointing to central machine on network now being ignored on all clients and nodes and pointing to 127.0.0.1 locahost instead. Any ideas please?

The luts referenced in the new presets section of the VFB in the v8 RC build seem to be harcoded to the windows path on MacOS so we get an error.

Wondering if anyone has had this issue? Sometimes a rotational motion blur works fine - but sometimes (same scene, same frame) - it seems to get too excited and the wheel in question is almost transparent as if its going too fast. This is in both IPR and a PV render in C4d R25. Sometimes, stepping back a few frames - then stepping forward again to the same frame is enough to suddenly fix it... Its a bit puzzling. I've attached one that worked and one that was wrong (not many passes on that one). Cheers!

Just testing my TR setup before I start a big job that will need it...

I've just sent a job to my Threadripper 32 core from the Host M1 Max MacBook - everything on R25 and Daily build corona-8-c4d-daily-2022-02-02 - I'm only getting about the bottom third of the final image - no errors - rest is black... TR Client seems to think its finished ok.

Am I being stupid?

Any chance it may be expanded (or already is, and I'm stupid) to project just onto polygon selections - so I can stop it creeping around the edges of parts? (e.g. Automotive doors that have a thickness with vinyl graphics running to the edges)...

[C4D] I need help! / Shadow Catcher Transparency issue

I've got an issue with the shadowcatcher when the render finishes. I want full transparency with just a backplate option in the material. I render to Picture Viewer and all is fine - complete transparency everywhere I need it right up until the last moment where it finishes the last pass then it adds in (darkens?) - and adjusts the 100% transparent areas where the floor object is to a few percent off - breaking the ability to composite properly. Its as if it runs a tonemap right at the end - but I don't have any tonemapping selected...

First job that could really do with proxies - a complex vehicle with many parts and many materials. Am I right that I have to manually assign materials to the model proxy after it is pulled into a new scene? That’s not doable here. Am I missing something?
