Here some some work I have been doing, and trying out more of corona. Its just being lit by a HDRi as i could not get corona sun and sky to look realistic. Let me know what you think. All crits welcome.

Looks amazing! Say how are you able to have such a strong white background with a strong contrast foreground? when ever I try to work with a white background I have to increase the intensity settings which just over brighten my render.

I am still stunned by how powerful this render engine is. Is this all made by you keymaster? At the rate your building this engine you may put Vray, Mental Ray and Final gather out of buisness.

Okay, I made some progress. I am still having a hard time getting the glass just right, but even more so I am not sure how I can give the illusion that their is a yellow perfume liquid inside. The Absorption is giving me really strange results when I try it.

Also I am curious to what you guys use for brushed metal? do you use a high IOR or low?

yeah I already had a HDRI in the scene under Corona environment, so your saying its best not to use Corona lights with HDRI then?

IBL? From reading a lot of the posts people seem to mention a lot of things that I have not seen with the Corona render? are they hidden?

This is about how far I have got playing around with the glass. I am not sure what I am missing so far, but I have seen a lot stronger results in the gallery.

Hi all. I am trying to design a perfume bottle and wondering a couple things. Does Corona support caustics yet? And if so how do I go about activating them. Also whats the best way to give glass that thickness look, I am still confused about when to use solid face vs thin faces. Also in vray there was the fog setting in material to change colour settings of say water ect. is there anything like that in corona that I am overlooking?

I don't know, but I have been playing around with the corona and all, but getting nowhere the results that I have seen people posting. At least with exterior works. I have not done any tests for interiors which from the looks of it is heavily favored. I did notice that the post process can be somewhat difficult to work with as I find it hard to get the right setting where the image is not either fully overexposed or fully underexposed.

I just began using this power render engine today and I think it has a lot of potential, but right now I feel so clueless on so many features and what they do.  I have seen a lot of really good work in the gallery, and I think more people need to share render settings, material properties and how they went about solving there problems. I would also really like to know how people are doing there HDRI, every time I try it looks terrible.
