Any way to filter results when searching on the forum? Especially by date.
Thanks.

Search order - for sorting, message age - for filtering, or do you look for something else?

Unless I'm missing something that doesn't seem to be available after searching on the search field on the top right, no?
All I see is a list with no apparent order.

use search button on the left menu, not a quick search field

I understand, and I don't mean to be a pain, but it would be great to be able to filter after the search is done.
That way the quick search would be useful, and you wouldn't need to go back to advanced search if you want to change the filter.
Maybe a drop down list? If possible... Thanks for listening though.

That is possible in the future once we will move to a different forum platform. Probably not earlier.

No offense, but is there a way to filter away for example everything related to Cinema 4D? I'm sure there are useful tidbits in it for everyone now and then, but I've found that 99% is just noise to me and these users seems very active.

In search page, there is expandable field "Choose a board to search in, or search all", where you can choose what boards to include or exclude from search results.

Yes, but I'm more thinking of the 'Show unread posts since last visit' button, which is the way I typically check what is going on.

Now that V5.0 is around the corner, there is a lot of outdated info on the forum.
I think it’s time to change the default search order from “most relevant” to “most recent first”. I always find myself digging into search parameters because many search results are not really relevant anymore.
