Hi all,

here is my last project create from  a plastic model of Alien queen. I did it on 3ds max and zbrush >

maybe bump map is a bit too strong and I think aliens were more shiny

HOLY cow!! great model and render, as for the material i think its perfect for this (little model plastic or steel made)

Thx guys!

I put some pictures of real models but I think that bump level is good and the shininess too. I will do a real version later with vray or
the new Corona's SSS I hope! =)

The white background totally ruins the whole presentation. The whole model is mostly black and the extreme bright background makes it impossible to see subtle details.
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.

You are right, I didn't get it you are using some reference model, but after you posted these photos I am even more confident that you should make it more reflective. It looks like it's covered with some shiny coating or wet alien goo. The real model is also brighter in terms of albedo.

Deadclown : Yes indeed, I should render it with less contrast.

Maru : You're not wrong, in fact only the head and legs are brighter than the other parts. I will add more reflection for both!
