Hello everybody,
I just tried using the new "multiple suns" feature of the lightmix of version 4 but I would like to use the Corona Sky maps for the environment and It looks like I can't link two different Corona Sky maps to the two suns I have in scene, so when I do the mix the sky always refers to only one sun and looks wrong in the other scenario.
Am I missing something? Or should I use hdr environment maps instead of the procedural sky?
I hope my question is clear enough…
Thanks for any help!

Patrick

Hi!

At the moment you'd have to use two different HDRIs (or one Corona Sky and then some HDRIs) - the Corona Sky can only be associated with one sun for now.

Not sure what you mean - the basic processing for this was in Corona 5, and the more advanced (where skies and suns can now be connected together) is in the daily builds for 6.

Hi , Any News about Using Multi Suns and Skies , I Think its Very important Feature .

This has been implemented in Corona version 6.0, you can test it in the latest public daily build here (07-07-2020): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mswauuv1afec8am/AAA5OKrd_QujokDM3mxQ7S40a

To utilize this please try the following:
1) Create a scene with 2 different Corona suns.
2) Open your material editor and add two different Corona skies, select and attach each sky to its respective sun or simply leave it to automatic calculation.
3) Open your render settings > Scene > Scene Environment > and select Multiple maps (lightmix). Proceed and paste an instance of your skies to the multiple environments setup tab.
4) Setup Lightmix, and now if you press render you should be able to change between different suns and skies.

I am attaching a scene in case you missed something or my quick guide wasn't thorough enough. Soon we will have an article explaining all of the above in detail.
