Hi

As soon as I try to render an image in Blender with a colour other than black for Volumetric Absorption/Scattering I get a message; which I have attached to this post.
Thanks for any help

Confirming.
That is, if Material Editor is used - You need to enable Refraction (must not be 0,00).
Or as soon as you add/enable Material Node Tree, it renders without an error.

PS
Using Material Editor it is necessary to check & set the preferred Material under Corona Surface Shading > Corona Material:
- CoronaPortalMtl (Ligh Portal)
- CoronaVolumeMtl (Volumetric Material)
- CoronaLightMtl (Emissive / Light Material)
- CoronaMtl (Corona Standard Material)

eg.

@Rac Leborg  I have a new release v5.1.5 that addresses the error you are seeing.

Though when using the volumetric absorbtion/scattering you should have either refract or translucency set or you can't see the effect anyway.
