Hello all,

I set a color to an object in the basic tab in atributes manager, but that color won't show in Wire Color  channel when the render is finished.

Any idea what it might be, im I doing something wrong?

By the way, is it possible to select the color shown in ID channel or is just random?

thank you all

Hi there,

Are you trying to use the Corona Wire shader? If so, maybe this will help?

hi!

No, I just want to add colors to objects for the wire color channel, for a better control in post production.

In corona Helpdesk for Cinema 4D in Multipass / Mask area says:

"WireColor
Renders each object with a solid color based on the color used to display the wireframe in the Cinema 4D viewport (this is set using the Basic tab in the Attributes Manager for each object)."

That actually doesn't work in my case, or most probably im making something wrong and don't know what

The colour is changeable in the 'Base' area of the wire material...
But do you mean you want to see the original material under the wire shader? Then perhaps you should stack a wire material on top of your regular material and load the wire into the opacity slot (see attached).

No, im talking about wire color channel, not material.

I send attach a image with the issue.

There are some objects with some colors, but not all are shown. And the colors that are in this objects are not selected by me.

thank you

Works for me. Open Multipass, add a WireColor mask as a render element, enable the render element, and it takes the color from the object as set in the Basic settings when Use Color is set to On and a color chosen (see attached file).

If the above doesn't point to a setting that needed changing in your scene, are you by chance using instances, or plugins, or something else that is cloning objects?

Thank you, it worked now

I think I now where the problem was, I was changing the color in attributes manager, in basic tab, but it was an null object, so I guess this doesn't work with groups but only with separate objects.

Thank you very much for your help!
