Yes it was a bug, can you please try v8.0.48 I have tried to fix the mtlindex order to match what is in Blender
@blanchg Is it possible to use a group instance for proxy? Under Corona Object Properties, I can choose a group instance in the Instance Object filed, but when I hit render, it doesn't show up in the render.
The licensing limitation is usually circumvented by splitting the plugin into the free and commercial part. The free part just by itself is useless, and need the commercial part.
THat being said, the blender community is willing to develop the free part, so we are happy to supply the commercial part, to have blender rendering solution in form of exporter + standalone.
It works in Max since 1.5 version I guessYes, but does it get exported for rendering with Standalone (ie. like on a client, over network)?
How to render using Corona Standalone? @HelpDesk
also, when i pack external data into blend file then unpack it in a relative folder the corona doesnt work, before it goes to caching it just.. disappears. as if i canceled the render before it even starts
I got textures to work but material preview with textures never did. Pre 1.6 was fine, unfortunately the fix with rendering can't be applied to the preview.
Yes, same here. I assume issue lies with CoronSA, since it can't open/read/write even textures (jpg, png...) and HDRIs
older version (1.6) works fine
Yes, it is necessary. Corona Standalone is included in our universal installers (3ds Max and C4D ones): https://corona-renderer.com/download
