Corona Renderer Crashes When I Start A Render With 14th gen i9 14900ks Processor
(1/1)
furkanbudak:
I have a 14900KS processor and whenever I start a render or active scene render, Corona crashes (sometimes 3ds Max closes, sometimes the computer gives a blue screen). what should i do? (same version programs with my other computer i7 14700KF, everything works perfectly.)

Hi, please contact us here and we will investigate: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Unfortunately, what you are experiencing may be caused by a faulty Intel CPU:

We can't be sure yet but IF the crashes are related to that Intel issue, then undervolting the CPU in BIOS might work for you - we had some users who did that and reported all was fine then.

apparently they are rolling out a microcode update through bios updates:

Thank you for all the answers.
MSI is supposed to release a BIOS update sometime in August. I don't see any other option but to wait for that, because I tried undervolting my processor but ended up with unstable performance. I am attaching the latest minidump file I received here. Maybe you can spot something that I might have missed.
