Hi all,

inspired by Pionier testing glass and liquid materials, i did test also in my old scene of orange juice to test if i can fake good the orange juice ( since the SSS is not available yet ), but i think i'm far from it right now : it looks like a limonade lol

I used an light yellow for translucency  with a 0.8 value
+ Reflection has light orange/yellow color
+refraction : falloff ( orange color + yellow light color ) + very low glossiness
+ Diffuse is 0

This is an old scene that i did for fun and i did render it with Corona and voila the result

Hope you like it

The leather material isn't that good i will tweak it in another scene.

Hi,

It's just a suggestion if it is possible in future to adjust the DOF and camera parameters in realtime just like the post processing.

Hi all,

I'm working on an exterior scene lately and i wanted to render it using Corona to test, so after converting and checking all materials, and here is the result.

Problem : the renders took 10 hours and the noise stills here :( i know i have poor cpu : core2quad q6600 )

I used :
Raytracing core : Embree tris : Precise
Low thread priority unchecked

PT-hd cache
path tracing samples : 16
max sample intensity : 10
Max records : 8000

So any tips to optimise speed  and clear up the noise would be  a big welcome !

When i turn off "Direct visible" so i can make the light invisible, it stills visible  behind a glass object, like windows

I've tried everything but without a luck, so any tips or work around ?

hi guys,

i wanted to render a very very short test animation using massFX ( an old test ) with Corona, here i forget to activate the motion blur, but i've added it in After Fx using Reelsmart motion blur plugin... i'll add it next time !


ps:  i know the cherries are on crack hehe

Hi guys,

This is an interior that i did time ago and i wanted to render it with the tasty Corona

After i did convert all vray materials, i did use an night hdri map for envirenement, but the problem is the noise was annoying my scene, but i give it 7h30 to render hoping to have a clean one,

Some weird white dots are visible, and it was difficult to adjust the texture without filtering, especially the bump value fore example the wood floor i did use a really big value, but i saw that i did wrong.

also the texture of my sofa without filtering destroyed the sofa shader, show it like a paper sofa lol

anyway i did use a lot of poswork in photoshop and Afterfx and this is the result ( downscaled of course )

Dof used is the  corona dof. I will test the daylight version next time and trying to fix the materials.

Hi Coronians,

Here is some cherries i did, mixed with a nice tasty juicy Corona rendering, hope you like it.

it was   fun to test the aperture custom map for DOF, i just love Corona...

PP done in Photoshop for color correction etc.

Hi all,

I would like to see in the near future some nice lens effects and more internal corona tools for post production,
would like to see the glare and bloom effects with aperture and obstacle maps, it increases the realism instead of going to photoshop or afterfx  to do it with plugins.

Hi guys,

Here is a new work for fun and testing corona's materials and trying to understand the parameters...

I've found one issue : the Gradient ramp doesn't work correctly ( lined paper ), in vray it works perfectly but here after converting the materials, i did found that there is no special thing in the gradient ramp it is the same  solid color lines, and you can see it destroy the lines... anyone have the same issue ?
