When saving the render file as CXR, it would be great if we can see the noise level and render time for that render.

but do not use displacement für the rabbit hole! ;)

But for this you do not need a rabbit hole. It is pretty simple: Earth diameter is about 12750km, the max height difference on earth between mount everest (+9km) and marianna trench (-11km) is 20km. 20km out of 12750km is about 0,16%. Since you can see the water, maraianna trench is out of equasion. The result is 0,07%.

Out of curiosity, have you mean utilizing the DOF Highlight solver for the renders?

Hi,

When you set up the light mix, you get these channels. These are the lightmix channels, giving you control to tweak lights inside the corona frame buffer. Also later if you want to do some Photoshop post production work, these channels can be very useful.

[Max] I need help! / Re: Black rectangles in saved images
« Last post by Pooya Madani on Today at 04:17:56 »
Hi guys,

I have been experiencing the same issue for a while. It happened randomly. In the render frame everything is OK but when the render is saved, it has a random sized black rectangle area. It doesn't happen if I save the render as CXR, so I had to save CXR and use copy/paste to photoshop and save the image. I just installed the new hotfix 2, let's see if it solved the issue.

I created “The Cat” in ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter, and used Corona to render it. It’s a showcase of my new collection of smart materials for creating realistic metal textures. If you’re interested in getting the material pack, you can find it here on Artstation:

Thank you everyone! I'm happy to hear all of this :)

And @steppes, wow... I looked this up and went down a rabbit-hole of the relative size of the Earth.
Very good point. Thanks. I was honestly already feeling that the Earth was "feeling small" with the Displacement turned on.
The scale felt off.
