Hmm, it looks like there are some issues with this setup indeed. Corona to this day have troubles with handling complex refractive materials, so it's best to keep it simple to avoid potential issues. I made your glass and label with single material and decal should be working correctly now. You will probably need to fix your UV mapping, or masks, since there are some spillovers here and there, but i think you should be able to handle that on your own.

Can you share your ticket number? I could not find anything under your forum email address.


For Misshurika the ticket number was #226825 and the issue was related to overheating. The system stopped crashing after undervolting the CPU which lowered the CPU temperatures from 90+ to ~75C.

Please note that Corona cannot directly cause a system crash. It can cause a 3ds Max crash, but if the whole system crashes (e.g. a blue screen or restart), that would point to things like hardware or driver problems.

ok so there is another problem, my mapping randomizer is creating this weird thing like the black frame in textures, its regullar, do you know how to get rid of this ?

wow, that sound just like the answer to my problem, i have never done that, i mean converting image to bump and gloss but maybe it will work correctly you. I will post the resoult tommorow

No new book - it takes a huge amount of time and work to put a book together, and then Corona is always changing, which is why we have never done a printed manual for Corona. We did attempt something similar for the old old version of the Corona Academy when it took place in person where we had a printed book to go along with it, but it proved impossible to keep it updated; I imagine the same issue would apply here.

Not sure on sprites but at a guess you can simulate this by using geometry - like "billboard" trees and the like in older games, you would have a plane, set to always face the camera, and then have a texture on it for what the particle would look like. If using self-illumination or light material with emit light off, this should render very fast indeed, as you are basically just adding 2D sprites into the scene.
