Maybe your texmap kills light intensity just too much. You can see how ground gets much more light without mapped intensity. Try to ramp up intensity with texmap and match it to mappless one. See if it helps.

CoronaMtl does not support show in viewport funcionality. You have to go down to desired map and enable show in viewport there.

When rendering with area to render: region and clear vfb inbetween renders is selected, whole vfb is erased before render. I think in such case more desirable would be erasing of region only.

That's how it worked back in a days when clear vfb wasn't broken IIRC.

It would be very handy if error/warning messages that contain name of offending map/material, would be clickable. That is you could click map's name in CEM and it would open slate material editor, create new view and place that map in it for editing. Not sure how it would work with compact material editor though.

Make sure you watch this tutorial first:


CoronaBitmaps uvwOffset controller is working properly. It is point3 controller, so you cannot directly connect it to float controller. First you need to assign point3XYZ controller to uvwOffset and then connect X controller (which controls U offset) to sun's rotation Z controller.

Updated my CoronaScatter transformation panel mockup: 1. added separate global and local controls to scale 2. swapped translation and rotation controls - i hink such order is more common than current one.

Please add support for animated objects , for example i have a tree with wind and want to bake that to corona proxy (with animation) and then i want to use that in corona scatter . and also it would be awesome if we have some animation control like randomness and offset and ...

Animation is already supported, even with deformational MB. Ability to randomly offset it would be more than welcome though.
