If I understand right, the issue is not multiple HDRIs which should indeed work fine. The user is commenting on backplates and similar, using a LightMtl with Emit Light off, and that all of these group under the "Rest" LightSelect. This means they can't use LightMix to enable or disable particular backplates since they are all grouped under the one Select. The original poster can correct me if I am wrong :)

Exactly as you write, Tom.

The lightmix in c4d is short on this and yet it's such a basic thing. I don't know how it is in 3ds max, unfortunately I think it would work there.

well that's a problem, because if I want to create a day scene and a night scene at the same time, the day scene will have a different background than the night scene. And lightmix is supposed to be exactly for these situations right?

Hi,

I have a problem with lightmix. I'm attaching a simple scene. There are 3 lights in the scene. Light material has not enabled emit light. I use this setting very often in the scene( background plane, bulb body etc)

The problem is that all light materials in the scene that have emit light disabled fall into the rest(unassigned) category in lightmix

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi

Please advise me how to set the sky, sun and camera. I want to reproduce a blue sky, camera against the sun( a kind of winter sky). I can't get the blue sky, there is always a big haze on the horizon and everything except the sky is too dark.

Is there something wrong in my sky settings or is it a post production issue?

Thanks guys, both options work fine. Konichowaa, your solution is better, I can see directly in the viewport and I can control the rotation in one place.

Hi, I need some help.

I have corona sky+sun, I want to use hdri map as visible background, reflection and refraction. When i activate bloom and glare i get beautiful colored stars :-D And on one spot of the floor I even have NaN?

Am I doing something wrong? Is this an old technique? I'm using the latest daily build ( 9 daily Aug 30 2022) Cinema R21

Version: 7.0 rc 1

I have several problems in IR render. Sometimes the material disappears from the object and is only white in the IR, other times the whole object disappears. Even restarting IR doesn't help, but I have to reload the material. Also the render instances display badly, I'm using surfacespread 2. Multiinstances are of course unusable in larger scenes, this will crash C4D completely!

Does anyone else have these problems?
