Hi, i have a bathroom scene, the glass doors have frosted glass, and the mirror is a box with no deformations and the material has no bump or something else, the mirror material has 999 fresnel ior.
In the mirror reflection its showing splotches in the door when using UHD, using Pt+Pt its fine, but the curved reflection in the mirror is the same
Both images have 17 passes, PT+PT takes double the time than UHD

Is the mirror reflection normal??

I managed to reproduce it. It's a UHD Cache problem. Try switching UHD to animation preset in its settings.

Thx the splotches are gonne, but the mirror reflection is there, is it normal behavior?im sure my boss will be a pain in the ass on this one :P

Not sure if shading smoothing can affect reflection like that, but worth to try: add smooth modifier on mirror box geometry and make sure that neither auto smooth is checked nor any smoothing group is selected.

Thanks romullus , switching to animation preset helped in my case .
