Can you explain what exactly you are having trouble with?
The bottle with a label in your example image could be done in a lot of ways. I think the easier would be:
- modelling the bottle with all the details such as the vertical "ribs" and a flat area for the label
- then applying a label either as faces with a different material ID, as separate geometry, or using a Corona Decal - https://docs.chaos.com/display/CRMAX/Corona+Decal

I installed corona 12 in max 2023 and its crashing even in empty scene when I want to create corona camera or try to select corona camera to change parametres...........does anybody have same issue???

This was discussed a few messages above and it is reported.

If this is happening only with Max Bitmaps then I am afraid we may not be able to do anything about it. If it's happening with Corona Bitmaps as well, please let us know.

Devs - is it possible to have the Converter operate so that the Max Bitmap > Corona Bitmap button only affects the selected object or slot? Right now I don't believe it respects that radio button choice on the bottom left and just does the entire scene.
"Materials of selected objects only" - this seems to be working as expected - only the Max Bitmaps of the selected objects are converted
"Selected material editor slot only" - this seems to be working in the compact material editor only

What exactly do you mean by "this problem"? Masks should not be created using the CTexmap element. You can use the CMasking_ID element for this - I shared an example in my previous post. Is there some issue with that?

I can confirm what you are saying.
I looked into it some more (including rendering CXR strips and stitching them through 3dsmaxcmd), but I could not get any satisfying results. Like you are saying: you end up with a bunch of "correct" strips or a single incorrect image. Unfortunately, the process of splitting an image into strips and stitching them is handled by 3ds Max so it is outside of our control.
I can only suggest using Deadline or Pulze. If you encounter issues with that software, you can contact their support and get proper help.
Another idea is upgrading RAM - as far as I understand the main reason why you are splitting your image into strips is running out of RAM.

The thing here is that you may be getting the expected rendering performance. I would recommend some basic optimizations such as:
- enabling "single bounce"
- increasing step size to the highest possible value (at some point you should see artifacts such as sharp squares/lines in your volume)
- also the higher the absorption distance (more transparent volume) and the darker the scattering color, the faster it will render

I couldn't come up with any practical examples (sorry! :) ) so here is a totally random one - diffuse color from the pattern object mapping, opacity from the base object mapping.

Corona Pattern can now use the mapping channel of the base object, or the pattern node, OR BOTH. Why is this big news? Mainly because it was not possible before and it allows for creating things like carpets where each of the pattern nodes has its own texture (e.g. diffuse color, bump, or other property) and the base geometry has another one.

It can be a bit tricky to set up, so I am attaching a sample scene.
