Hi there, I received some Models from a client where it has more than 200 scatters objects and I need to convert them to mesh, is there a way to convert them in batch or an easy way to do it, like I said, theres more than 200 scatters, its gonna take a lot of time to do this.

It will be great to have this operation in the Lister too.

[Max] Feature Requests / Invisible Lights for Caustics

Hi there, sometimes i want to generate caustics just for artistic purposes, but in order to use caustics "visible to refractions" has to be turned on, with that, the light that i want to generate caustics is visbile in the objects reflections, causing undesirable ressults.

In the attached image i compare the ressults from Corona 10 RC2 and Vray 6, is there any possibility to make the light invisible for this porpuse?

Hi there, is there any chance that we could change the denoiser in the interactive render?
Having NVidia by default its ok, but with the latest updates of Intel, in my opinion its faster and more accurate even for the IR.

Hi there, i want to know if theres a chance to have more control with HDRIs, in lister for example, right now the only way to control it is with the CoronaBitmap parameters, for me its really anoying having the material editor opened just to control the light, sometimes i prefer to use CoronaSun in one camera and for others i want to use an HDR.

I could use some wire parameter to turn off intensity or something, but its not practical, i loved the "transfer from object" option in the Corona Bitmap, so i can link any object in the scene to control the direction of my HDR like in Vray.

In Vray, HDRIs are connected to VrayDome, so if I want to use a vraysun, I just turn off the dome in lightlister, but in Corona we dont have that kind of practical management.

I think there are some scripts that can control all aspects of an HDRI but the ones that i know are not free.

Right now the only way that ocurres to me is using LightMix, but  is not the way that i want to use because it consumes lot of RAM.

[Max] I need help! / Quad Menu scripts reappears

Hi there, recently I created a new Quad menu and I have assigned the Corona Tools in a different place from original when installed, the problem is that every time that I open 3ds Max these tools reappear on the original place and not just Corona, other scripts from Phoenix too, its not really annoying but I prefer to have them where i put them.

I have tried moving the folder from installed path, but they reappear, also i´ve tried finding them on the mnux file from Custom user interface, but theres nothing there.
The only one that appears are the Phoenix Scripts but even deleting them, they still reappear. Is there any other way to remove quadmenu items?

Im working with 3ds Max 2024 with Corona 9 Hotfix 2.

I know we can multiply the channel in Post but it would be pretty useful to use it directly from the VFB.

Hi there, is there a possibility to improve Lightmix in order to include new lights only re render and stop recreating them with the script?

What i mean is this, right now when i create lightmix elements it includes every single light that i have at the moment, but if i create new lights, all of them appear in the "Rest" category, if i want to control them separetely like the others i need to recreate lightmix elements manually, it would be very practical if you could updte all of this stoping the render and render again, this is something that happen in Vray.

Hi  there, do u have any plans soon to redesign your VFB? there is a card in the RoadMap, but it has been there since forever :)

If you could integer Cryptomatte masks directly, like Vray does, this would be awesome, I recall that in some release candidate you have include Cryptomatte Material, but in the final release it was missing, this mask is the most useful, also a possibility to get materials and focus distance just by picking it would be awesome.

About Image history, this is something that i use alot in Vray, comparing the images even when resolution is not the same, open the file and use projects paths and also load layers, right now the history deletes images while closing 3ds max :( and cannot use any single image if the resolution change even a single px.

Im working with 3ds Max 2023.2.3 with Corona 9, theres also an issue with Chaos Scatter, after installing this version this plugin dissapears.

Hello there, recently I have moved to 3ds Max 2023 and theres an strange behaivior when installing Corona, 3ds Max takes too much time to load, I have tested it installing and uninstalling every component. Keeping only the main plugin (without scatter, ) seems to improve loading times, im using Corona 8, with Corona 7 Hotfix 1, doesnt seem to work even that the installer says that it support max 2023. Have you noticed something similar?
It also affects when installing GrowFX for this version.

[Max] General Discussion / IR very slow and stop updating

Hi there, recently Im starting working with Corona 8 and I have been struggling with Interactve Rendering, its too slow and after a couple of passes it stops updating any change, even if I adjust resolution, the image is still the same, also the Reload button in the VFB doesnt work at all. 

I have tested Corona since 5th version with small scenes and didnt happen this before, this scene its not too complicated i could say its medium size, but as I said its really annoying that it takes too long time to start and suddenly stop updating. Hope this could have a proper solution.

The machine has a very good components, 128 gb ram, ryzen 9 5950x and even with this its pretty slow and buggy.

Hi there, recently I started to work with Corona and I find very useful the ToneMapping and Postprocessing override options per Camera, I like to have everything organized in 1 file, so i have multiple cameras and complete spaces and always use State sets to make Batchrenders, is there a possibility to have an scene environment overrides? it could be very useful to have this implementation, because State sets doesnt save these changes.

Hi there, Im testing Corona 8 on Max 2023 and I cannot use LightLister, my file has some instanced lights on groups that have been converted from Vray and they dont appear, I have to use an script in order to see them and control them, is it something with this new 8 version or 3ds max 2023?

I have tested Corona since 4 version and this havent happened. I have already ungrouped and unique them and still dont seem to appear on the lister.
