Title: why are my renders so low quality (Pixelated)

please I need help :(
I have been on the same scene for days trying to figure out why my Renders looks so bad, low quality (Pixelated). even after rendering for 6 hours it still looks the same.

I am not sure what i am doing wrong. i don't mind rendering for long hours but I should at least see its progress while rendering.

Post by: romullus on 2021-04-17, 15:48:04: Your renders are tiny and you're viewing them in 4x and 8x zoom. Set higher resolution and view them in 1:1 zoom.

Hi, regarding changing production render resolution you can do so from the 3dsMax Render setup window (F10) > Common Tab > Output Size, you can either use a preset or select custom and set your own. In case your interactive rendering resolution is set too low, you might want to check your system settings and see if everything is in order. Again, Render setup window (F10) > System Tab > System Settings > Interactive rendering, and please make sure that Image upscaling factor is set to default 1.0.

As for the zoom levels, on your VFB window there are 3 magnifying glass icons at the top of the bar, right next to BEAUTY. You can zoom in with the +, zoom out with - (or mouse scroll) and the icon with the X resets your zoom levels.
