Hy guys, i'm having a little problem with renders saved in some formats.

When I save the render in jpeg, png or tiff 8 Bits, it looks like the framebuffer, but when i save the same render in exr 16 or 32 bits, or tiff 32 bits and open in Photoshop (with sRGB color profile), After or Pdplayer, the render looks a little diferent, especially in black colors. But when i open the same EXR file in Corona Image Editor, it looks like the framebuffer.

Does anyone know why this happens?

Thank you.

Hi,

I see this is a very old topic, but I had a similar problem. The difference is the result of that when you save to JPEG, you use gamma 2.2 and when it is saved to EXR then, for example, photoshop will display it in sRGB.
Gamma 2.2 and sRGB are not the same.sRGB has different black levels than Gamma 2.2.
