Hi guys,

in the future it will be planned to have the Chaos fur function like in vray? the hair module is not the same unfortunately


I think this feature can create slowdown problems with 4K monitors.
Until today I have always used a 900x600 resolution and displayed at 200% (2:1), in this way I had a higher calculation speed and a good video display.
Now however with this new function (Daily Build 2023-05-30) to keep the same size of the VFB, it renders me at 2200px with of course a big drop in performance.
I'd like to get an opinion from those who use 4K monitors and understand if I'm missing something, maybe there's a way to fix it.

Hi guys,

I added a virtual beaty pass to have a more marked denoise and at the time of the render it appears in the pass list (I renamed Denoise)
Why then, once the CXR file has been saved, does this pass no longer appear? I am attaching a screenshot

I wanted to understand the reason for this choice. Previously known as a bug (Internal ID=969912371), now it has been disabled.
I find this feature could be very useful.

Suppose I have 5 plant objects, with the spline distribution function I have the possibility to distribute them in the whole scene with different splines and with different density.
Otherwise, instead, I should duplicate the scatter object including the plant objects inside.
I don't know if I explained myself

I wanted to know if it is possible to do a quick search of materials when using the nodal system. I usually create views and call them Fabric, metal, wood etc, but when the materials start to become numerous, I always lose some time looking for them.

hi guys,

I wanted your advice. I'm about to change monitor configuration and wanted to find out if a 32-inch 4K dual monitor configuration was too much.
My doubt was above all the 4K resolution having been used for years to always work on dual 2K.
I almost always do IR preview with resolution in the vfb 900x600 about, now my fear was also this, that is to understand if in this case I would have a very very small vfb window.
My boss would buy 2 of these (Lg Series UN 650) because in the office there are all monitors of this series and you should keep the same white and minimal style, otherwise I would certainly have bought more.
