Hello,

The wait for version 1.0 of Corona is killing me, but A7.2 is doing the job very well :)

Here's is a 4 hour project from start to finish (before click Render)

modeling: Sketchup
render: 3DsMax + Corona A7.2
resolution: 1920x1080
render time: 1:30 per frame
passes: 485, but at 400 was clean enough

Small update ,

The client made some changes and wanted from a photographic point of view a completely different output.
More minimalist and contemporary .

You send the job to backburner, as vray, as mentalray, whatever, the only thing is to limit the number of passes that determines the quality you need... :)

Yeah ok!

With corona, I think you don't need to pre-calculate, you limit the number of passes and that's it!

Please, learn the 3DsMax basics, and then try Corona, Vray, whatever...!!!
Go for Corona without the 3DsMax basics, it's like to try to ride a car without steering wheel...!!!

Check this tutorial,

The concepts are the same for almost every render engine, that as a physical camera approach!

[Max] Resolved Feature Requests / 3DsMax Standard Fog Effect
« on: 2014-11-03, 16:14:45 »
Hello,

In Vray you can use the standard fog effect, and it works great. You can achieve very good results.

Can Corona work with standard fog effect?

thanks.
