OK, so it is because of Max. The thing is that Max unfortunately replaces parts of some standard system controls (that we use) by custom solutions and it does not always work well with regard to 3rd party plugins. Especially if the system controls are tweaked somehow, which is your case. Currently we cannot do much about it because when we get to control, things are already "screwed". The solution would be to stop using those system controls on our side and write our own ones, which is planned but it will take some time.
