Gallery / Ramon Zancanaro Tribute
« on: 2023-11-25, 03:03:28 »
Approximately 11 years ago I had the opportunity to buy a 3D scene from one of the most influential artists at that time Ramon Zancanaro, and my curiosity led me to study the scene mainly from a technical point of view in order to understand the 3D workflow and was an enriching experience.
A little over 2 weeks ago, going through an old hard drive, I found this scene again, but this time I wanted to give it a try using Chaos Corona, unfortunately, as it was an old Vray scene made more than 10 years ago and the Chaos Corona converter did not It worked as I expected, which is why I decided to correct and refine material by material until they work in a physically correct way. After several tests I was finally able to recover 100% of the materials and this allowed me to generate my own version of the scene, in terms of lighting and composition and color grading. This experience was like a trip back to my early years as a 3D Artist, full of memories and good times. Said this, with a lot of respect and devotion this is my personal tribute to Ramon Zancanaro and his G-Spot of the Bed and Art scene.
