Hi

Mix material does not support Displacement, it causes Max to crash upon rendering

And I figured out that the CornonaMixTex and the standard Mix material or not equal
Anyone a slolution?

Mix texture does blend between the two inputs. CoronaMixText does more mathematical operations, Add being the default one. So Adding pixels together of course produces different results than blending between them :)

Can you post the problematic scene, or the crashing part? It works for my simple example:

I will have to change the title of this thread. :-)
After preparing a file for you, where I changed my displacement settings (render settings) back to the defaults one, the file did render with mix map in the displacement slot. But If I lowered the displacements settings so I would get less displacement, Max is crashing.

Is this normal? If can still send you the file when you need it.

I have send you the file a while ago. (via the upload folder)
But in the meantime I have tested it with the daily builds and now it works fine.
