Hi guys i have a problem.
The 3dmax is using a lot of power while doing very simple tasks, any idea how to fix that ?
PS: i am using 3dmax 2021 and the latest corona

It's completely normal thing, in fact you should be worried if you wouldn't see this :]

maybe i didn't explain well but this happens while moving in an empty viewport or isolating a simple box, i have to wait like 30 sec to isolate and un isolate a simple geometry

What Corona version do you use? In Corona 11 there is a bug that's causing Max to freeze on hiding/unhiding objects if the scene also contains Chaos scatter(s).

i am using Corona 11, but i dont have corona scatter in this scene actually. what should i do if i down grade the corona version would it run smoothly ?

You can try to downgrade and see if that would make a difference. At least that would give you a clue if that's Corona's issue or not.

Hi. I understand your problem. Here are some tips:

Try changing the display settings in 3ds Max to Direct3D in Customize > Preferences > Viewports.
Update your video card drivers to the latest version.
Check your power plan settings in Windows and choose a high performance plan.
