Very interesting works! why is it so dark in places when light comes through the trees in others?

Thank you all.

Evermotion trees.

Very interesting works! why is it so dark in places when light comes through the trees in others?

I think that was due the dense scatter of trees and bushes plus high contrast in post. I tried to give a sense of enclosure.

What are the render times?

I really can't answer with certain because I was testing distributed rendering so I had allot of stops and resumes.

How about those fireflies you had problems with? What was the cause? :)

It was a strange combination of bump settings and reflection values. I had to use real low values.
Still don't get why they were appearing with override material.
Thanks for the help by the way :)

inverted Z-depth pass in post

Wonderful..:)..What settings did you used..?..

Day light - PT-PT default settings
Night -      PT-HD default settings
close-up - PT-HD  PTS-32

I drop a few more words about this work at Ronen Bekermam forum. Feel free to check if you want.
