Inspired by Patrick Bradley's Container house.

The wet wood looks very believable, nice job!

Wow. Cannot believe I got a reply :)
Thanks. Need to do it again and re-work the rust.

Decent work :)

It is so cold and depressing. I think that it would feel like I am the only person in the world if I would to live there.

I kinda like the approach though :)

P.S. Give it some more time when rendering - noise is ugly.

What?! I can't see noise at all.

Guess my vision is too sensitive then :)

Anyway, there is still some noise left on all glass surfaces and some of it on window frames, stairs. Nothing critical, just wanted to mention it - but maybe it is not even possible to clear it before the new Corona version.

The second floor windows have a Frosted material.
From afar the frosted part becomes only pixel sized and looks like noise.

Yeah, I guess you are right SairesArt. Even though I don't honestly see the logic in these frosted windows when, at least in my opinion, these huge glass openings should provide you with some nice and clear view of your suroundings - where you can just use curtains when you need privacy. Maybe I am wrong, but it seems right to me :)

If you check that interior shot, it kinda looks that windows have clear glass but with some nice rain drops added on top for more realism.

Yes, I did not realize to two hours into the render that the window in question was too noisy... it was Plate Glass. But, I thought nobody would notice :) For me, the rust panels is a disaster... I mixed rust with leather and it did not work. It needs to be more water damaged and stained.

Will have to do it again. Boy, I hate re-doing stuff... it's such a drag.

Many thanks. But, all my work looks sort of depressing. I do this with intention. Not quite got it right though.
Thing is, life is not blue skies and Ikea furniture.

Really influenced by movies. Ridley Scott is a master of colour filter. The opening battle in Gladiator with all the cold blues is stunning.
Another Ridley movie, Bladerunner, have interiors that have smokey depth... like there is volume in the air.
Want to create this next.

I just read your message:
-I think you still need to work on the details. Maybe more small "trash" such as leaves, dust, stones,...
-The interior render looks kind of unfinished, I can also think of some "dirt", maybe wet stains on the floor as if someone just walked inside
-The overall impression is also dependent on the cropping/framing, so maybe it's worth to experiment with it
-I don't like the blurriness of the background
-Maybe sunlight (even very weak and blurry) would introduce some more realism/drama

I love the floor material of your interior shot! Any chance you could post it?

Thanks!
