I cannot speak for other users, but I find the curve editor GUI in the Corona Color Correct Texmap difficult to use, i.e it takes much longer to arrive at the desired result. An alternative might be a levels adjustment editor instead, a la Photoshop.

If such a GUI element is already present in Max (or Corona), I would be happy to learn of it.

I would love a Level Adjustment feature. But actual value input in the current Curve editor would go a long way!

Lol exactly, yes, input values would be great. To be sure, I am envisioning something more like this:

+ 1 for values and levels.

I would love to see a feature that automatically adjusts black level to the lowest pixel value, also white level to the highest pixel value. It would be very useful for remapping.

RGB and individual RGB channels maybe?

So we have two feature requests here, right?
1) Levels adjustment with a new shiny ui
(Internal ID=415647273)

2) Input values for curves (and levels too, duh)
(Internal ID=415647808)

In the event that this feature is actually being evaluated internally, I wanted provide an alternate UI scheme for levels adjustment. The following comes from Substance Painter which enables levels adjustment:

Level In - Low
Level In - Mid
Level In - High

Level Out - Low
Level Out - High

The equalize feature of the Corona Color Correct Texmap is invaluable and presumably a levels adjustment would work in tandem.

I'd like to bring this up again to be considered for the list of new features/poll. Thanks.

Both the UI improvements for the Curves operator (numerical inputs, low/med/hi sliders, etc) and the Levels operator are acknowledged feature requests and we are aware that they are very much wanted.

This looks good - BUT clamp shouldn't automatically assume 0-1 space, rather it should be user defined (0-2.5 for example).
