Hi,

I have an odd problem, I noticed that my machine wasn't picking up a DR job. I noticed that the Local IP address show on DRServer 192.168.1.55 does not match the local IP of the machine 192.168.1.100 (which is set as a static IP by the way)

See attached.

I've tried to fix this by reinstalling DR server but to no avail, is there anything else I should do?

Thanks,

Dan

What's the output of "ipconfig -all" typed in a command prompt?

Good Luck

Hi Frood,

Just as expected, 192.168.1.100  it's odd, I don't know where CoronaDR is getting 192.168.1.55 from.

Hi,

Do you have any virtual adapters on you system?

Thanks,

Rowan

Hi Rowan,

No, no virtual adaptors. I've done a little testing and when I set the network adapter to 'obtain IP address automatically' it is given 192.168.1.55 by the DHCP server, then when I set it back to the static IP 192.168.1.100 (which is outside of the DHCP allocation pool) the DR server doesn't seem to recognise this change..

I've always run static IPs on the workstation and slaves and never had this before..

Update, so I have a work around. The PC I am on has 2 network adaptors, I switched the cable and set the static IP on the new adaptor and now it works as expected.
